True colours shining through

Pride Comes Before The Fall Month 2024 has come to a close. While people have been distracted by drag story hours, the “rainbowing” of business logos, and numerous parades littered with naked men, the truly godless and totalitarian Woke LGBTQ monster has reared its grotesque head. Behind the cries of oppression and calls for tolerance lies a cultural behemoth. This beast is both funded and sanctioned by the State. Their narratives have been propped up by the propaganda media. They are hell-bent (literally) on crushing any dissent and using all the legal and legislative weapons in their arsenal.

The Chief of the Toronto Police gave his officers explicit orders to not arrest any person who was publicly nude during pride parades, even in the presence of minors. It has come out that our Federal Government not only gave tens of millions of dollars for pride events between 2020 and 2023, but also promised $25 million to fund the first ever LGBTQ entrepreneurship program. Teachers all over the country have been berating students who express any desire to not participate in sodomy festivities. In fact one school in London, Ontario suspended several students who planned a walk-out protest while their school was scheduled to have a “pride flag raising ceremony.” The Prime Minister has stated that parents should not have the right to be informed if their children under the age of sixteen wish to change their genders and/or names.

This is about more than tolerance. This is about more than acceptance. This is about more than celebration. This is the queer colonization (see here). There is a cultural and spiritual war being waged on Western Civilization and Biblical truth, and those who subscribe to Transianity want nothing less than a total take-over. They will not rest until their queer empire has crushed all vestiges of a Christian nation, and they will force you to bow to their gods. Submit or perish – that is their offer.

You may think I am being hyperbolic, but consider several examples. Teachers across our country who do not bow to the trans gods and speak out against the trans tyranny are being fired, without cause, and it does not appear that they will recover their jobs. Last year, after being mentioned in a CBC article (see here), Liberty Coalition Canada, Harvest Bible Church, and Trinity Bible Chapel all received death threats, dozens of vile and vicious emails, and many have been calling for the removal of charitable status. There isn’t a city in this country where a rainbow has not been painted on at least one street corner or sidewalk. Submit or perish.

Kiss the Son

This is not a novel situation, however. History is replete with kings and emperors, drunk with power and focused on conquering their enemies, in conflict with the true and living God. The object of their fury is the people of God and the culture they have historically created.

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” – Psalm 2:1-3

The trans nation has gathered the State, the media, and all bureaucracies to crush the people of God and their truth claims. They desire to be freed from the supposed shackles of God’s good and gracious design, asserting themselves to be their own gods. What does God think about this? He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. – Psalm 2:4

God is not threatened by their empire. The Lord of glory has seen many empires, and all of them have eventually been brought to nothing by His hand. This is why God can declare:

Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. – Psalm 2:10-12

Our hope and their terror

The irony of the threats from this cultural behemoth is that they apply squarely to the gay colonizers, not the people of God. Even if they were to do their worst and take our lives, we would not be the ones perishing. Our souls would go to be with the Lord while we await the return of Jesus and our final and bodily resurrection. They, on the other hand, are storing up for themselves the wrath of God, and they will perish. They await being thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity for their glad rebellion against the true King of the Universe – Jesus.

Our King commands us to tell these rebels that unless they repent, they will die in their sins (Luke 13:3). We are tasked with calling those in darkness to wake up and find light in Christ (Ephesians 5:14). The truth is that they, like us, must submit to the Lord of lords, or perish. In the face of opposition, we can be courageous and joyful. “Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident” (Psalm 27:3). Our King has been and will be victorious. Because we fear God, we fear no man.
