The reprieve we're currently enjoying is just the second step of the ratchet toward hell. We're objectively worse off than we were in 2019, and the next crisis will take even more ground for the enemy before offering another reprieve to lull us out of fighting.
Agreed, for the vast majority of people and communities there will only be ground lost. But for those faithful churches and intentional communities, I am confident of blessing and flourishing even as the tyranny grows more intense. I hope for more of the latter and less of the former.
I appreciate this blog and share your concerns Andrew and Bnonn. I suspect that part of this let up we are seeing can be attributed to a failure on the part of Christians to see or understand that they are indeed soldiers rather than survivors. I think many who fought were more so resisting (a good thing) - but from a defensive posture, in survival mode. Ultimately, it's unlikely for one to push forward when there is a failure to know the objective is to take ground in the first place.
I am becoming more aware of the spiritual battle waged everyday. I see how Canadians are held in the grip of tyranny and evil thrust upon the people by supposed elected officials working with diabolical organizations and forces. I stand to fight for decent, righteous a d good. I pray that those who seek 🙏 God's compassion, grace and forgiveness receive it.
Thanks for the reminder. There many positive things to consider during these years that have lead to a level of insanity many refer to as clown world. We know who are enemies are so stop supporting them financially. We know who are allies are, work with them and support them when possible. We have learned what is most important, our families, and our faith. Strengthening these are paramount to a strong Christian cultural push back. And many are doing so. I am engaged in my own way although different than those who are up front and Centre. There are many new freedom fighting organizations on many levels, many we know little or nothing about, but they are all in the same fight. There are more independent political candidates running for election because they are aware party politics have never work for the people. And those who have been in the fight as of late have finally begin to realize we are at ‘war’ and the idea of neutrality is not a thing. Oh, there’s problems and it will be bumpy but we are going to win. We serve the dragon Slayer. “All authority in Heaven and on Earth “ belongs to Him. We have also learned fear is a weapon and when you learn to fear God and not men you will be able to stand up against Tyrants. “ The Lord is my light and my Salvation whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, My enemies and my foes , They stumbled and fell, Though an army May encamp against me, My heart shall not fear. Take heart we are more united and less fearful this time round. “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His” I encourage you to read the full verse from Daniel 2:20-23 and Psalm 26. Shalom and Pax Vobiscum
Hi David, You have mentioned the increase of independent candidates. I would draw you attention to the renewed effort of the CHP. The CHP has just completed its triennial national convention and is on the move. Look into chp.ca
Will do, thinking politics in a world most of us for many years took for granted is a big learning curve for most. Busy working, raising children with Christian values and all the duties that come with fatherhood can be daunting. Not being involved politically has hurt all of us. Better late than never I suppose. But, as we know ‘Heaven rules’ regardless of what party gets in, but we certainly need to shine a light into the darkness. Shalom brother. Soldier on
What the Canadian government did to it's people when "covid" happened was cruel and unforgivable. I still feel rage rising up inside when I think about what Trudeau and the Liberals did to the "unvaxxed". They (we) suffered the most and some way more than others. I shudder to think of what will happen when the next "pandemic" hits.

You're completely right. The gates of hell are gates, which means they are by nature a defensive structure, which means we MUST be on the offense.

There is definitely a war, and when one follows Christ, he is automatically enlisted.

There has definitely been a Great Revealing coming out of the COVID era, and I am very thankful for it.

I am saddened that a great many Christians will not be ready for that.
