I do support 99% of what you have said, except for the political, anti-conservative rant. You have presented a problem with the conservatives without offering an alternative. All the political parties are basically the same, except the Conservatives are the only ones with a real shot at getting Trudeau out of office, at this point.

Canada is a sinful nation under the punishment of God. We can prep and plan and try to vote strategically, but we all know that God is sovereign and we get who we deserve as the leader of our country.

We are instructed, in the Bible, to pray for our leaders, not tear them down. The only real chance at a change Canada truly has, is for the faithful believers to fight, on their knees, in prayer, before the only one who can truly change the hearts of our leaders.

The alternative I offer is not casting a vote from pragmatism and voting for people who ultimately hate us and our worldview.

The point I tried to make was that if our focus is getting Trudeau out, we are missing the point entirely, and we will only continue to heap on the wrath of God.

When Israel tried to do everything it could to protect itself from Babylon, it allied with Syria. They chose the lesser evil nation over the greater evil nation because they saw greater destruction from Babylon.

Not only did the prophet Isaiah condemn them for their compromise, but he also said they were not standing firm in faith. And ultimately God punished them in greater measure through Babylon anyways because of it.

If we link arms with evil pagans to save us from greater evil pagans, there will be no blessing that comes out of that. There will only be an increased measure of God's wrath poured upon us and our nation.

You have spoken out boldly against who “not” to vote for, but still remain silent about “who” to vote for.

Hence my comment about politicians/parties all being the same, at the end of the day. Where some may align themselves with some aspects of my Biblical and personal beliefs, they fail in others. There is no “one” politician or party that would truly honour God if elected. The Christian Heritage Party exists, but are very quiet and have no one to carry on the work of Rod Taylor as he and the party members are aging out.

I understand what you mean about voting for those who hate us/our worldviews, but then we are entering into another conversation about boycotting ALL companies who do that as well. I know Christians who can’t live without their Starbucks or McDonald’s and look forward to dinners out at companies who have spoken out against Christians and are strongly aligned with planned parenthood, etc...

Not everyone who is a believer thinks about these things on this deeper level.

Ignorance is bliss. To do these “deep dives”causes one to change aspects of their life, and step out of a comfort zone, which is hard and people don’t like to do it.

And yes you are right with us looking to the Conservatives as a lesser of an evil tyrant than Trudeau, but right now there does not seem to be any other viable options 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do believe that the CHP is a moral choice, and some candidates I know who are solid believers who are running with the PPC might also be an option.

There is a category difference between who we buy goods from and who we vote for to help make our country better. I am not buying coffee to stave off political destruction. They're not the same things.

I agree most are not thinking this deeply, which is the failure of churches, and it's a big part of why we are in the mess we are in.
